Or would you hold out on installing it until you purchased a PC (or other fuel remap)?

I originally did my swap with no intention of buying a PC. So yeah, just do it.

was it hard to install the gytr? what did u do to make it fit?
Re: Any 06+ R6r stubby exhaust for 03-05 R6 or R6s
alright so this is my definite mod to start off the summer. I am not sure what brand slip on I am going with but have a couple newbie questions. After reading all 16 pages.....I have a 08 R6s. What year/model do I order the stubby exhaust for? Once I get the exhaust, Do i have to trim the exhaust itself or my header, or is it already at a length that will work? or is it personal preference as to the length?
Any issues about doing this with a 08 R6S that I need to know about?

You order the exhaust for any 2003 to 2005 R6 or 2006 to 2009 R6S. Competition Werks, Riot HR1, etc. etc.

When you get it you don't have to trim anything, it'll hook right up, mount perfect, etc.

Because any slip-on removes the catalytic converter on your R6S it's a good idea to pickup a PCV so that you can load in a proper fuel map so your bike won't run scary lean and suck donkey balls down low.

I already have a D &D slip on which was on it when I bought it. As far as I know there is no Power Commander....seems to run good to me but would like to get a power commander this summer. What about an 06-10 r6 exhaust? would that mount up good or is it different. I think I am between the HR1 and the Olson as of now....but I am still not sure

what about two brothers? I cannot find any shorty two bros anywhere that would fit.
Also anyone who has a GYTR shorty how did it go? saw a lot of posts throughout discussing issues with have to directly welding it to the headers because the two pipes were the same diameter.
