Scary Incident: Riders please spread the world to those that thinks its ok to just save a few bucks and not do it the right way. Secure it!!!
Will save a life and maybe a R6. I wouldn't want to see my R6 smashed up by a mattress/box spring .

watch the video and you'll see what i mean.

Re: Flying Mattress vs Biker

Thats insane. Wonder if he woulda bounced off of it ot it off him lol. Something like that happened to me coming back from getting an inspection on my bike two years ago. It was a piece of metal scrap flapping in the back of a pick up. In my mind I was thinking that would be some Final Destination type crap if it just flew out and hit me. While finishing that thought it actually flew out and missed my head by a foot. It was the craziest thing that ever happened to me while riding.

Had a big bolt (motor mount or frame mount size) get kicked up by a truck tire in front of me. watched it travel directly into my helmet left me dazed and it left the thread marks engraved in the helmet. Not fun.

I hope you replaced that helmet. If it hit you hard enough to daze you, the shell is probably done.

The battery cover once flew off the chopper my friend built while I was following him and nearly hit me in the face. That was neat.
