Well... I'm in Taiwan and bored so decided to share my build of my 95 Dodge Ram 1500.
Being a machinist by trade, a capable welder and fabricator, and having grown up wrenching on cars with my Pop's, I started building my truck the way I wanted it to be.
I started by laying down the most entertaining paint I could think of.
From there, I started working of the weak suspension on the front end. With 6.5" of lift and 3" of body lift, the truck handled like crap and broke ball joints for breakfast. I ditched the upper a-arms and hand fabbed new ones using 4130 tubing and uni-balls to replace the ball joints. I then decided to use heim joints rather than bushings and welded new tabs to the frame. That cured the crap desing that caused camber problems every time I hit a bump. I left room to cut out the coil pocket and fab up the mounts for some 2.5 coil overs later on down the road.
I had a spindle shaft fail so decided to machine new onces also out of 4130 for extra strength and pressed them in.
Since the rear end was always on the stops when I towed my trailer, the rear suspension was next. I installed some bolt-on air ride leveling bags. The first time the rear was at full droop, the plastic spacers broke. I ordered some 6061 alum and went to work. I made new spacers with t slip fit allowing the suspension full travel and still matain the use of the bags.
I"ve dropped a new 318 in the General, all aluminum rad, 4.56 rear end gears, "bullet proof' trans, centerforce clutch (yep 5 speed manual trans), K&N intake, flowmaster exhaust, HID head lights, hand fabbed a light bar for the soon to come led 20" off road lights, ect,ect...
This has been a fun truck that is fully functional. Hope you enjoy seeing the progress I've made.

Well, I have a few things in mind...
I want to cut a pocket out of the inner fender so I can mount my 35" spare tire to the side, in the bed without blocking so much of my rear vision and still keep the bed usable.
I made my front end so that I can cut out the coil pocket and build mounts for some 2.5 coilovers and box in the lower arms but the shocks are $1500 so that will be a while.
I've also thought about puting a 5.7 Hemi out of a newer Ram but that may be a little over my head with swaping computers and all. Maybe some day though.
I've talke to a couple inerior guys in the area about doing the Confederate flag on the head liner. That one will happen soon cause my liner is shot right now.

Make some TOUGH front a rear bumpers! Winch and all... My buddy made a front out of 1/4" steal plates and when he was done, it weighed 800lbs...
But that shit was TOUGH!
I went the other route. Just made a simple light bar that bolted to the bumper where the front plate went. Simple and clean. Still gotta get the lights for it though...they got put on hold over the summer cause the damn boat was drainning my bank!

Yeah, I've heard The best day as a boat owner is the day it's sold. Everyone wants a friend with a boat, because nobody wants the headache and drain on the wallet...
My bud had a bitchin 21' wakeboarding boat, we always had a blast out wakeboarding on that thing... When we were too drunk to board, out went the two man tube and King of the mountain and luz ensued... I got knocked out cold gettin flipped off that thing after hitting some wake. My bud said I was at least 15' in the air before landing head first, backwords in the water... Came too on deck after they fished me out of the drink...
