I'm hopefully getting a job transfer to Atlanta, GA. Does anyone in the area know any safe and in-expensive places to live around the area? I'll be working on the South side of Atlanta near the airport. I would prefer not to travel more than an hour-ish to get to work. Thanks for any help.

I'd suggest the North side if I were you, That's what I prefer. It all depends on where your office will be. What company? I'd suggest Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek, Suwanee, Forsyth. If you want to go up 75/575 I'd suggest Woodstock or Canton. You can get the best bang for the Buck there, or in Forsyth. I'll be buying my first house in Forsyth before the year is over.

Douglasville or Villa Rica. The commute is much better than the north side of town. Villa Rica the Carroll county side has no emissions like the rest of Atlanta area, but living off of 400 you would be close to the mountains with great riding. Here in Villa Rica we are close to the Alabama mountains.
