I really like what you have done to your bike, looks amazing! I'm about to start working on mine again and make some major changes. I never did answer your question about the gearing, i don't know what you decided to do, but i love the gearing change i made, -1/+1 would be better for around town but on some of the corners i hit i have to take them in 3rd and 2nd gear would be more realistic, so i almost wish i would have stayed with the stock gearing as far as that goes. I got the 6k HIDS for my bike and everyone i ride with was complaining they were way to bright, so i unhooked 1 side and ride around like that. You should do the R1 turn signal mod, it's so easy and looks killer.
What is this r1 turn signal mod you speak of? And i have decided to keep the stock gearing for now. i just want to find a chrome factory rear sprocket and also a factory length gold or blue chain... i think it would look cool!
Also i had a set of 5k hid's and people always flashed there brights at me. I ended up selling them and just have factory bulbs in for now... debating about retrofitting the headlights or not...
i got a question... i found a rear seat cowl FINALLY... but its just all blue, doesnt have any decals on it. would it look stupid on my bike with my white decal on the tail fairing having the seat cowl all blue or no. opinions please

I will post some pictures this evening after work of the R1 turn signal mod, it is turn signals in the outside corners of your head lights, it's very easy to do and looks cool.

I'm using my flush mounts as running lights. When i originally bought the flush mounts i could not get them to work as blinkers, even with the custom led flasher relay they wouldn't work, so i just did the r1 mod with 194 bulbs. It's different, and i like the way it looks. I think i'm going to do wheel stripes on my bike, i just don't know what color to do.

Very nice bike. I also just got a 1Gen about a month ago. As my first bike. I love it. But it's does need quite of work to be done to look great. I was thinking about that DanMoto exhaust also. Is it full or just a slip on?
Its just a slip on. It's the best sounding exhaust ive heard on a bike so far in person.... if u do get it go to there website and order the baffle as well.... Its a amazing exhaust and looks AMAZING on the bike. i get so many compliments on it!
BGballin : I dont remember if i put up pics of my yellow rim stripes but i love rim stripes on bikes. it sets em apart and makes them look different. i love the yellow with my blue! Just dont go with red or white on your bike. Do a diff color that would blend well with your colors dont be like everyone else and do the color of your bike lol. i like unique
That's the problem with my bike, red and white are the only colors that would match. I think i'm going to try out that Dan Moto slip on, i really like the way it looks.
