Removed rear fender...

So this morning I was changing the oil and decided...hey I really hate this bee stinger. So, I was inspecting it and what not before I tackled the job. After inspecting it for a few minutes while I smoked my cig I noticed that the bolts were UNDER the glove/wallet space that's in the box!

First thought was, wtf am I supposed to do to get to it?!

If I would have known how much trouble It was going to be just to get all those little push locks and screws and allan screws out, I probably would have just paid someone to do it. However I looked at it as an opportunity to get to know this newer R6 so I went ahead and did it.

Here is how it looks like sorry for the low quality took the photots with my iPhone inside of the garage which is poorly lit and even used the LED flash on the phone which is really crappy.

Now I'm just waiting for the integrated tail light to come in, hopefully it makes it here before I ship out to boot camp. If it doesn't, then it's going to suck having to wait 3 months to be able to install it.

Thanks for the comments just can't wait to get the opportunity to mod the living hell out of the bike. If I can't find the under tail in black color I'll probably just get the red painted, going to get the red stripe on the rims changed to white too.

theres a how to for that..i was like wtf? when i first saw it too. just had to cut and pry it to get to those screws.

I'll never cut anything on this bike if I can avoid it. It took some time, but I was able to complete disassemble the seat area to get to the fender.

I made my license plate out of an old license plate I had in the garage too. Just cut it to fit the temp tag and now it's firmly on there! Lol, I guess whatever works right?
