What to spend my money on?
So usually I get a pretty good amount of money for Christmas and my birthday because they're right around each other, plus I do a lot of work for my dad over the break, so it adds up pretty quick. Usually in the $1,000-$2,000 range.
Anyways, I'm trying to figure out what I wanna do with the money. Basically I can either spend it on my bike, or spend it on a gun.
If I get a gun, I'm going to build something like the SASS. A semiautomatic, 7.62 sniper rifle. Probably cost me close to $2,000.
If I put it in the bike, there's a bit I've been looking at. Sky is the limit more or less.
Here's a list of what I'd like to get, in no particular order.
First up is a dyno tune.
Unless I decide to get an overbore kit. I really only want to get a tune once. Thoughts on the overbore? Idk much about them.
New tires. Something I can use mostly on the street but that can be used occasionally on the track.
A track suit. Looking at some of the cheaper A* stuff.
Included with the suit would be gloves.
Slipper clutch.
Full Ohlins suspension.
520 kit.
Race bodywork. Or at least buying the stuff so I can get on a track. Still gotta commute to school.
Crash kit.
SS brake lines.
New levers.
Rearsets.
Quickshift kit.
Race school before I get on the track.
I would like to have a few of these things like the tires, suspension, and tune before I ever hit the track, more or less for safety reasons, plus the obvious stuff required for the track like the suit and crash kit.
What's yalls take? Anything I should add to the bike list?
Any particular order I should approach this in?
Would you rather have the gun or a few more parts for the project?
