I should be out there the 6th! Just got my shock back from Tige, so should be good to go.
Hey! I'm doing the same thing! Selling the R1 though - still gonna have the R6 track bike. Sounds like the 250 grid is gonna be freakin' huge.
I also give Ti2TT a big endorsement. They've got a ton of control riders, and they're always more than happy to go out and follow you / give you a tow, or spend tons of time talking about lines and technique in the pits. They'll also do 1-on-1 video reviews sometimes for a really reasonable price.
if I don't sell my 250 in time, you guys are more than welcome to ride it.
What did you do to your rear shock? I might take up my buddy's offer and buy his 3 way rear elka for 500.

It was leaking out of the compression adjuster. Tige (at Cyclemall / Catalyst Reaction) replaced the seals. I did two days and it started leaking again. This time he replaced the whole adjuster and put it on the shock dyno for awhile to test it. Hopefully fixed for good this time.
It's the 3-way Elka. You're welcome to hop on my bike for a session if you want to see how it feels. I've got a GP kit in the forks too.
Mid-city-ish, by 10 & La Brea. Pretty close to Motorcycle Performance Services / Flash Tune, if you know that shop.
I still need to actually book the day. I should go do it right now.
I'm flying back from NY Friday night, then I'll pack up and hit the road on Saturday. Should be pretty flexible on departure time and will hopefully make it out there before the gate closes - a rare occurrence for me.
I'll be booking the day in about two weeks. Gotta email Ant right now to get my ecu tuned asap....I want to pick up a gear indicator too but I don't like doing wiring lol.
And I'm booked. Gear indicator should be a piece of cake. Just power, ground, signal for rpm, signal for wheel speed most likely.
I also suck at electrical stuff, but managed to wire up my GPX lap timer without too many headaches. Still need to get a damn mount worked out for that thing though.

hit up slow boyracing, he has a unit the is completely plug and play (Pzracing); going to get two myself...
I used scotch lock connectors, which are super easy - all though not as secure as stripping & soldering.
Yeah - I really just need to find the time to get my R1 sold, then I should be able to go grab the 250 whenever. Owner hasn't really been actively trying to sell it, so shouldn't be a big deal.
Ok, time to get the f out of the office, way too late.
