I scratched it while installing it tonight in a few places and spilled some gas on it so a small bit of paint got all weird so I think that'll please the gods for a little bit!

Here is what the 06-09 Lor Exhaust looks like installed on my first gen. I don't have the support bracket hooked up in this picture.

Oh yea, and the gas tank installed.

Got my Knox Contour Large Race back protector in the mail today from forum member!

Fits under my suit just fine. I feel so much more protected, especially with the tailbone extension!

The 06-09+ exhaust actually fit right up to the header just fine with the adapter pipe it came with just fine. However, since it stuck out past the footpeg a little bit, i decided to remove the adapter pipe to shorten it, which solved the problem.

But then the exhaust inlet was bigger than the header outlet, so I found a 6061 aluminum pipe with a perfect inner and outer diameter to fit over the header and put the exhaust over that.

Also cut a tiny strip of metal to be used as a support bracket that just mounted behind the footpeg bolt.

But it sounds sick! Such a deep growl and then the awesome racebike scream at high RPMS. The downshifts sound sweet too.

Here is a vid of two accelerations:

Re: Rocky5000100's 2002 R6

So it's my birthday today and the girl got me some Renthal Kevlar grips! Also got an air compressor from the dad, and digital fit weathertech floor mats for the 4Runner.

Also dropped the bike off yesterday to have the valves adjusted and the jetting looked at!

Oh yea, and i'm buying another R6! A blue 2005!
