You get passed ... a lot, but there was nothing going on that made me feel nervous.
You do need to safety wire your drain plug with them though.
I was bad my first track day, I felt like I was all over; much better my second though, even picked up ten seconds, without really push much at all.......
SocalTrackDays can be intimidating due to the number of racers that usually show up but it's actually one of the chillest trackdays you can run. The really fast guys/gals will go by you no prob and they are usually very courteous about their passes. Nothing like MX. Just ride with in your abilities and maintain your lines and all will be fine.
Wow, not a lot of options for Big Willow this year unless you want to ride in the balls ass heat of the summer.
Yeah you were right about Mototyard's new race season screwing with their track day schedule. It looks like I'll be doing most of my days at Chuckwalla with TrackDaz. It's too bad my first experience with them was so lackluster though.

trackdaz usually have some bad days (red flags) due to that they promote a lot more than other track orgs. Meaning they tend to get a lot of the super noobs and people that tend to crash.
Who's signing up for socaltrackdays jan 6? I'm signing up at the end of this week or next...who else is in? I know fallis and me so far.
it's costly buttttt it's open session, no breaks. Just ride to your heart's content. Perfect to get some testing done or work on stuff which is what I'll be doing.
