new paypal rule?

Paypal's been doing that for a while now. They put a temp hold on it until a few days after the tracking number that you provided says it was delivered. If you don't provide a tracking number, it stays in hold for 30 days.

They did this because of A-Holes sending out empty boxes and also because of people claiming that they received a bricked phone or some type of electronic devise.

I hate paypal. I sold something about a year ago buyer wanted to return it. I told them to send it back and I would give them a full refund. As soon as paypal recieved a tracking number from the buyer they took the money out of my account, and I recieved an empty box. So people can still scam you on either end.

They should've did this a long time ago before I lost my $$$ all because stupid seller sent my part to the wrong address and wouldn't give me my refund ...

This is a good change, I use paypal a lot and I don't mind this at all

I can't think on any better way to pay a transaction than pay pal. What are your other options? Most of us dont accept credit card. What's left? Check? Money order? Wire transfer?

This sounds like a bunch of bs. If I'm in California, and am shipping something to ny its going to take about a week to get there. Plus another 3 days to get my money. Fcuk that Shit.

I suspect you just have a transaction that hasn't cleared yet. I think that's when someone pays with an e-check. Your account summary should have a note about it so you don't mail the goods before the payment clears.

Withdraw transfer time looks the same. Around 3 days.

The money has been there since the end of last month. I just hate having to wait so long for the for the money considering the only reason I sold it is because I could use the money now. Not to mention the extra 30 I had to fork out because of shipping. I can see if maybe I was a bad customer and they no longer trust me, thats fine. But I've done PLENTY of business threw them and have never had one issue.

I have had this happen plenty of times. They say they hold the loot till the recipient leaves positive feedback, or goes into paypal and marks it as received or something like that. I dealt with it for over a month and had to put at least a few G's out of pocket out to keep things flowing.

So once I added tracking info to every single one of my payments that showed delivered, and asked customers to mark as received, I finally got off the shit list and back to normal.

They told me cause I was NOT selling on ebay, growing my amount of cash flow by greater than 10% a month raised a flag. So starting a growing business is a big red flag over there aparently.

Then I get a guy over there at paypal trying to extort money from me to release my funds. Oh well, you could upgrade for $30 to this virtual something or other and get your money. "So you're strongarming me out of $30 so I can get thousands immediately?" "I am not sure what that means sir."

They won't do it forever to you. It's happened on my personal and business account and have NEVER even had 1 bad feedback on ebay, or in paypal. NEVER had any refunds or disputes either and have pushed 50k through them at 3% a buck. Their algorithms suck balls. You call and there's like 1 level of support. Asking for a manager usually results in the person saying they ARE a manager.

I hope amazon pay takes off cause I think it's feeless!
