Re: new paypal rule?

Well this fing blows. I hate even waiting the 3 days for my money but I do. I definitely don't like waiting a week and a half for it. So what if the person doesn't mark it as received?

Re: new paypal rule?

Go google their fee's and your head will spin around as most are all over 10%. They might not have fee's on their money system, but they make a ton off those who sell on amazon.

Just found their fee's on their money and it's about like paypal.

Amazon makes money other places and horrible fee's. No matter what service you use you're going to pay a fee. Nothing is "feeless".

So once I added tracking info to every single one of my payments that showed delivered, and asked customers to mark as received, I finally got off the shit list and back to normal.

They told me cause I was NOT selling on ebay, growing my amount of cash flow by greater than 10% a month raised a flag. So starting a growing business is a big red flag over there aparently.

Then I get a guy over there at paypal trying to extort money from me to release my funds. Oh well, you could upgrade for $30 to this virtual something or other and get your money. "So you're strongarming me out of $30 so I can get thousands immediately?" "I am not sure what that means sir."

They won't do it forever to you. It's happened on my personal and business account and have NEVER even had 1 bad feedback on ebay, or in paypal. NEVER had any refunds or disputes either and have pushed 50k through them at 3% a buck. Their algorithms suck balls. You call and there's like 1 level of support. Asking for a manager usually results in the person saying they ARE a manager.

I hope amazon pay takes off cause I think it's feeless!
3% PER dollar?!?!

Re: new paypal rule?

2-4% is standard fee's for any transaction be it paypal, cc, google checkout, etc. It often depends on how much you process but 2% total is about as low as you're gonna get. If you're a high risk merchant like most of the porn industry, etc then there is certain high risk cc processors and they charge like 10-20%.

Sweet jesus.

They charge me 1% per credit card transaction (1% of the entire purchase) with my service, but I pay a base fee of $50/ month, to process debit cards for ''free'', and have the software on my computer home screen to do so.

I suppose that's the difference between a ''high risk'' over the internet transaction, and not.

Re: new paypal rule?

you're not doing volume then.

therei s no way it's 50 a month and 1%. Unless you're doing like less then 50 transactions a month then you're paying 1 dollar per transaction +1% and I bet if you read the small details it says if it's a rewards card, international, etc you pay an extra 1% or so for that. That is nearly always in the details.

Nobody is paying 1% though unless maybe you're wal mart. The rewards cards alone hit you with 1%. With a wholesale account (over 1 mil a year) you can get around 1% then the rewards will be tacked onto that and international fee's if you do international business.

High risk isn't internet. It's the business. Lots of wives ask their husband about the charge and all the sudden it's "I didn't authorize that" or someone hacks their account and puts it on forums and they shut it down and the guy calls his cc company. Just lots of issues overall is what makes it high risk.

Didnt it have a special code attached to the box? When ups/usps/fedex/ or whatever delivers it the funds are released.

Next the guy could file a dispute and say you stole the item out of the box.
doubtful as whatever item would have had a weight to it, which was recorded by the shipper.

Have the contract right in front of me.

EVERY other company I looked into at the beginning was as you say that 2-4 range. This company gives some of the best rates, and probably because it's local to Canada, and don't have to go through any US companies.

If you DO exceed ~ high number (COULD be 50) of credit card transactions in said 1 month, they do charge you something more, but no one pays with credit card that often. Debit card is 85% of all my transactions.

Regardless. YES. I pay (to be exact) 1.2% ( It's higher for American Express, but I've never even seen one of those), on the total $ amount of any credit card transaction.

It could simply just be more in the states. Wouldn't surprise me.

I know some bigger corporations here use US systems, but they I'm sure are based in the states.

It amazes me how many people spell that word incorrectly.

Sorry, just had to point that out.

The word you're looking for is through.

If you tried to correct all the spelling and grammatical errors on this website you'd go blind. Shit, just the misuse of apostrophes in THIS THREAD ALONE pisses me off.
