Would I be considered successful if I subjected myself to the rest of graduate school and hated it, then got out with all my student debt and no longer wanted to be a structural engineer? You don't understand-- none of you guys do-- how much work and stress and lack of fcking results and feeling like a huge retard and having your professors try to play you into doing what's best for THEM (and not me) this whole semester has been. It's easy to sit on the sidelines and say "yeah man, stick it out! It's not that bad! Think of how nice it'll be when you're done" without being the one DOING the work. Putting in the 90 fcking hours per week and having literally everyone tell you (in some way or another) that you suck at this every day. I'm fcking out of here.

If the only reason you want to drop it is because it's hard and it blows, then quit being a pussy.
However, if you really feel that it would be in your best interest of your future to drop out of the graduate program, then yes, you should drop it.
You're right, I have zero idea what grad school is like. Best of luck though, Brony Bromo.

I'm stopping because I'm beginning to hate this profession. I'm burnt out man.. I need to see the fruits of the last 6 years' labor for a little bit and take a breather.

I feel you 100% on the getting burnt out on a profession/study. Do what's going to make you happy bruh
On another note.
I've been doing some research today for fun. And after quite a bit of investigating, it seems that a SEVERE toothache is MORE painful than child birth and labor pains.
Made the mistake of telling my girlfriend, who thought it would be funny to tell her mom to see her reaction. Got a pretty unhappy text from her mom telling me to bring a watermelon with me tonight when I come over
