what do you guys think about a CRF 80, 2008 clean going for $900?

eh... you could probably find the same vintage or newer 100 and be much happier. The front wheel is worth $150ish. The 100 makes alot more power. Id go $750 tops

Its gonna be my pitbike so not looking for a full size dirtbike, but would love to take this thing in the desert though too.
From my experience he is right...$750 is a better figure. Either way, the 80cc will be a blast. I have two 70's and wish I would have purchased the guys 80cc he was selling.
I bought both my XR 70s for $500 each if that helps with figures

so think it's a good buy? i mean it looks damn clean. never owned a dirtbike before, just ridden one so don't know about maintenance and shiiit.
but for a pitbike, i'm going to assume not that much besides oil changes and gas or is it mixture?
it was either this or new front suspension... but i keep hearing the stock R6 fronts are pretty good and just need to get valved, refreshed etc... unless you really feel like it's just no good no matter how many times you adjust it.
