looking for an R6

I looked at a 03 last night....hadn't been started for a while....took for ever to start and had a whirling sound to the engine at lower rpm.....owner said it is a normal noise.....is it?????????? Oh ya...bike has been down on the L side...some fairing damage and rash on the LS engine cover

I'd pass on that bike. You can find much better. check craigslist and the for sale section here on this forum for anything nearby you.

Picked this one on monday..03 with 38km ..pretty clean decent price...the guy threw in 2 jackets a helmet , cover and a bunch more stuff..starts good and seem to run good as well....need a better day to give it a better run

Looks good bro.

Looks like it has the standard mods such as an eliminator kit and sliders, but those fairings aren't original and there are no mirrors. Also, that looks like the exhaust from an '06+.

the owner told me about the fairing deal...it came with bar end mirriors that went in the garbage can....." whata is behind me is nota my consern ".
overall a good bike ..it's going to be a good summer on the track .

Is it legal to not have mirrors?

I guess it doesn't really matter on a track bike
