After a day out in London with the family I got home and got straight to work on the bike.

Have drained the tank an replaced the oil and oil filter, need to get a air filter as seems like the bike has been driven without one.

So first thing in the morning will be getting fresh petrol and start her up, hope she runs sweet and can take her for a ride.

How she stands at the minute.

Hope you pulled the carbs off and thoroughly cleaned them........ as previously advised......

Ok carbs cleaned and all the things mentioned above done, also flushed the coolant system but my fan does not seems to come on after a ride? Now the cosmetics begin. Started plastic welding the broken bits but some are just far to gone! Anyone have any ideas on style or paint ideas?

Fan should kick in at around 210-215F? Let it idle until it starts if it doesn't while riding.

Are you still building it up naked?

Yea bike is still naked, need a few new road fairing bits before I respray it. But the fan does not kick in at all was idling for about 20 minutes gets really hot?

Glad to see you are doing the work yourself! So far I did all the work myself on my bike and I'm proud of it. How is the weather over there right now? Maybe the cool air is keeping the fans from turning on? Never mind, you said it's running hot.

Hi guys need a bit of help again. I have bought the electrical parts I need for the lights and kill switch. Have fed the new cables in but I seem to be missing a blue plug connector and have a extra white one? I'm just guessing as using my dads bike as a reference.

what is this white one has 4 pins.

Then also have this white connector on the left with three pins

Any ideas?
