Got mine installed today, along with the BMC and Spark Plugs. I hollowed out the top part of the Reed, threw the bottom part out, and put the top hollowed piece back in, under the blockoff, in order to utilize the factory gasket. I was worried about not having a gasket of the blockoffs. Both my brother and Anthony suggested this.

So you just took the reed screws and both plate out of the gasket/housing?

Yes sir. Then completely remove the bottom piece, place in dumpster, put hollowed out top piece in hole, place block off on , screw those PITA stock bolts with loctite on them.
