Re: HOW TO: WoodCraft Case Covers

I need to buy the gasket for the pickup rotor cover (oil pump cover/brake side cover). I just wanted to make sure I was getting the right gasket. It is number 15 in the picture correct?

Kevin, I could have ordered this with the puck bro! U want me to pull one from a box with the cover and send it with the puck and bill you tonight for it? Woodcraft and I stock em. It'll prolly be a much shorter wait

Re: HOW TO: WoodCraft Case Covers

Watch out when the torx bolts let loose. I sliced the shit out of my knuckle on the razor sharp edge of the case cover. lesson learned

Re: HOW TO: WoodCraft Case Covers

I don't believe the cover bolts require locktite as stated earlier. And I definately would not go over 8 ft/lbs. Have stripped a few If you are going to use silicone, use it SPARINGLY. It should be that when you tighten the cover, NONE squishes out. The torx bolts are not meant to be reused. I would recommend replacing them next time. JMOs
