Maybe Maxxx will chime in with an idea on the value of that Duc vs the R6, cause I feel like there will be quite a disparity in value.

I'm down in Missouri City. Yeah, I'd stay away from older R6's (04-) just because they're old. That's just me and my personal preference though. Also join up wforiders.com for local rides, meets, and track days

How reliable are these bikes because a Duc can shit out at any moment.

Let me just say I that have owned a bunch of Ducati's and yes the will crap out quite a bit yes even the new ones (my last one being a 2009 848). My 2008 R6 on the other hand has never let me say that again never let me down.!!

Take a guess as to what happened.....
if you guess the bike started taking a shit when i got there you would be correct. filled the tank up and rode to the meet spot everything fine, talk to the guy for a bit he jumps on the bike fires it up idles for like 30 sec then dies. Did it the whole way back home guessing it was bad gas.
