03 honda shadow s light is on anyone know what it means

my dad bought a 03 honda shadow 750 and the yellow s light is on its located on the tank it doesnt have a manual and i cant figure it out on google thanks

I have had this problem many times too on the R6!

Seems to go away after filling the tank up? I am stumped myself. Any ideas?

full of oil/gas and kick stand is up but the s light on the tank wont go out

The s means the sidestand is down. Apparently the sensor for it is bad if it is up.
