Can't decide on helmets :/

ICON isnt trash, tired of hearing that i dont wear their stuff but just cus i like fancy dainese/agv/suomy ill agree their helmets are heavy as shit but if you crash at 100+ any helmet will protect you from cracking your skull into a million pieces

friend went down on the freeway with an icon helmet..helmet was rashed beyond belief but no cracks..visor didnt crack or anything...icon is like gsxrs apparently theyre for noobs only

talking about quality is one thing but saying it wont save your life is another....some gear is better than no gear...i still would advise to not buy a 60 dollar no name brand helmet off ebay lol

that's cuz icon doesn't make their own helmets. they just put their jersey-shore-fist-pumping-graphics on an hjc helmet and jack the price up a bit.

better to just cut out the middle man and buy hjc, no?

Hard to say no to a carbon fiber snell certified light weigt helmet like that for $300.. haha

It is ridiculous what prices you can find helmets and gear for when they go on closeouts for the year. I mean.. once 2013 starts, the new helmets will be $700 or so. ...Then when 2013 ends in december, watch them be like 3-400 lol. I really am amazed at that sale though.. I mean, they were $650 $700 just recently and still are on other shops and websites! 50% off a damn $700 helmet is a huge discount..

Have the same helmet, got it on sale also and grabbed a photochromic shield to go with it. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Good to hear! I was going to get that visor but didn't seem very dark so I just got a dark smoked one.
