Ohlin's shock for a 2003 - 2004 R6, will work on the 2005 as well. Bought it back in June but never installed on track bike before crash. Has 8 trackdays on it.

BTW anyone interested in this shock for their R6, this will not fit the 05 model properly. It will only fit the 03/04.

It will work, you just need to add a spacer, I bought it from a member on here who used it on his 05.

Can you please explain how the spacer is used to make this work on an 05?

It would go on the bolt/pin that connects the shock to the frame to make up that little bit of clearance. The washer would go on part #8 (upper bracket) in the attached. Thats my understanding of it.
