49ers signed cundiff and will pit him against akers in practice to see who will kick for the playoffs. seems like a lose lose, there is a reason the Skins cut him.
yea i think he can be way worse. as for Lewis, well who didnt see this coming. hes old, he injured and hes been saying for the past year or two hes unsure how long he would continue to play as he wants to spend more time focusing on his son playing. i wouldnt be surprised if he lands some form of a defensive coaching position one day if he goes that route.

What scares me is that either kicker can miss critical field goals that can cost the 49ers the game
Yeah, Lewis definitely lost a step or two. It's just hard to picture the Ravens without him in the line up.
I could see him be a coach down the line, his intensity is second to none.

He could've got the record, but the win was more important. It will be funny if AP shreds them for another 200 yards plus.
it looked like his knee was becoming worse and worse after the 1st quarter. i think after the half they should have pulled him. it was clear he was in pain and couldnt make plays due in part to that, either way we lost so it really is a non issue now. hopefully he recovers fully in the off season and skins fans can look forward to more excitement next season. coming from 3-6 it was a fun run to watch for me.
