Hello, I am from providence ri, am new to the forum bought a 2006 r6 50th anniversary edition it has 9k miles never been down, I am new to riding but can't wait to get some nice weather in new england to get out on it! I will post some pictures once I get it back together, I had some LEDs out in the integrated tail light so I am replacing that now. Also I am 23 years old.
hey man, welcome! I live right outside Boston, in Waltham. New to the forum and the R6 myself. I am definitely partial to the 50th anniv. color scheme good choice. I just picked up my 08 raven a few months back and cant wait till this shit weather passes! Maybe we'll have a chance to ride in the future. Great group of ppl on the site as far as i can tell, great community!
I saw your post new from Boston, I have been on here trying to figure out stuff I have had to do, bought new tires, need to change all fluids, forums great so far, I def wana meet some people on here to ride with a I have one friend with a bike, 2005 zx6r. I can't wait to get out, this new England weather is awful! Have you been out on yours yet? Any nice days I'm going for some short rides!

Not a lot of us on the forum from our area, kinda few and far between but yes a group ride with some folks from the forum would be fun as hell. I have not been out on mine for a few reasons. I actually have yet to take delivery or pick it up. Only reason being, I do have a garage but not heated(not entirely important). Seeing as I wasn't going to be riding it and the dealer offered free storage for the winter, I left it there in his warm showroom. I think i may try to grab it next month because like you I would like to do some maintenance and install some new parts I have already ordered.

Def will try to get something with my friend you guys on here when it starts getting nice, I wasn't able to ride today as I just got it registered today! And my rear tire is smoked and have the bike all apart cleaning and what not, tires are coming tomorrow so they will prolly get mounted is week and il be good to go for a week or so if we can get some nice days il take some short rides!
