Re: Portimao and the K9 Yamaha Italia Superbike

From Soup:
"Ben Spies was able to come within two tenths of the race lap record set by Troy Bayliss during the inaugural race weekend two days previously. In a validation of the team's belief in the potential of the new bike both riders put in fast lap times, Ben Spies lapping consistently in the low 1.44s on the second day."

Re: Portimao and the K9 Yamaha Italia Superbike

There's several schools of thought on the armband. Some racers say that it helps collect the brake fluid if some were to boil and seep out of the reservoir and some say that it's to cover any UV rays breaking down the fluid. Racers brake hard and ask questions later

Anyone notice the tuning fork themed wheels on the rear stand?? :

it protects the brake fluid from the a sun, or at least thats what i think its for, and probably for looks. but mainly i think its for keeping the brake fluid fresh.
