Just got done replacing a blown 10A fuse after my ride, the fuse controlling the turn signal, horn, and tail/brake light, it was fixed and worked fine. Well I went out riding again, flicked the turn signal on, turn signal flickered, fuse blew AGAIN :eek5. Any thoughts as I don't want to waste anymore fuses? I checked to make sure nothing was melted through or anything and did not find anything wrong or out of place. Throw something at me guys! Thanks!
i noticed that the connectors for the tail light came disconnected yesterday which might have caused the first blow out? It's a motodynamic light and the crimps never seem hold tight together.
Check your connections...if it's taped, make sure there are no little wires poking through that may be shorting it out. Those crimp connectors are crap...solder!
mine did this a while back, it end up being one of my flush mount turn signals, the wires goin into the back of it had gotten pulled out a bit and were touching each other. Id say do some wiggle test on some connections
SAME EXACT thing happened to me just 2 weeks ago. What brand flushies did you have? Mine were the Hot Bodies... They replaced them under warranty but it still sucks. Kept blowing the fuse and lost my lights except headlight.
