Hey gang...I have an 05 that is completely stock. One problem I have is that the flashers don't work correctly. I can push the switch to activate the left blinkers and they seem to have like a 2 second delay before they start flashing. When I hit the right blinkers, there is up to a 10 second delay then they start flashing. Any ideas? Maybe the switch is all gunked up inside?
Thats where I would start, and double check all the connections to the signals themselves, lastly if you can get your hands on a buddies flasher relay and try swapping that out as well
I think maybe if I take the swich apart and clean the insides? Would a faulty flasher relay cause a "delay" in the light activation? Thanks for the reply!
Old thread bump. I am having a similar problem. Left signal works fine, but the right signal is delayed. Only when it is cold out for some reason. If it is cold it takes 10-15 seconds to activate. If it above 80 degrees it works fine. Any ideas????
