I just wanted to get some feedback on what stands some of you recomend and how much I should expect to pay? Would you also recomend using spools or just the swingarm? Thanks guys!
get spools.they are much more stable and easier to use. i use power stands because they are alot more sturdy than some of the other brands. (like redline)
i laughed at the dealer when i asked how much for the yamaha stands. everything is so much more expensive over here, and the euro rate sucks balls on top of that. USA FTMFW!!!!!!
I love my Redline Stands! Plus the swivel option lets you move it around the garage, a must if you ask me for winter storage in a garage where you need to move it a lot
I have a yamaha rear stand and they are VERY solid. A tad bit expensive but totally worth it!!!! The stand doesnt budge. I am getting a front stand soon so couldnt telll you about the front.
I purchased front and rear stands from Handy Industries. They are extremely well priced, and I was very happy with the customer service the company has to offer.
Yamaha's MSRP is $158.95 for each stand. Graves sells the exact same stands for $149.99 a piece. I think the extra $8.96 is for the GYTR sticker on the Yamaha stands.
Ah, Canadian Tire! I lived in Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) as a kid, I used to love going to Canadian Tire with my uncle. I never would have thought of them to carry bike stuff though, that would be like getting stands at Auto Zone here in the US.
