Here is a good one for you all. So when I move to Japan I have to completely dry out all the fluids from my R6. The thing is supposed to be bone dry. No fuel, oil, or any kind of fluids.
So I was wondering what all fluids I will need to make sure to drain and I wonder if anyone has ever done this before?
I don't have any experience at all with this kind of stuff. But I would guess to drain the fuel, oil, and coolant. That is all I could think of. Good luck.
Good one to mess with smartasses who "know everything" about cars...do you know how to change oil? Yep...know how to fill tires? yep...know how to fill antifreeze? Know how to fill washer fluid? Yep...know how to fill blinker fluid? Yep... Ah! He's full of s**t! Works every time :yes
all they check for motor oil, gas and coolant. I shipped my bike from NJ to CA and when the guy showed up he was pissed cuz I drained it. We had to push the bike into the trailer and he was complaining about how outdated it was to do all that shit. And whats ****ed up is that an empty fuel tank is more likely to explode than a full one. Call the shipper and get a list of exactly what isn't allowed to be in the bike. They probably won't mention brake fluid or fork fluid or anything like that.
Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to take out the battery too, or at least disconnect it.
