not sure if this is right forum or not but quick question, I have an 07 R6 that I would like to lower the rpm's when in 6th right now it's about 7-8k at 80 which way would I have to change the sprocket and chain don't want to loose alot of topend but would like just tad bit in the lowend.. I believe the sprockets are stock
That's normal. Why would you want to lower the RPMs? You can't easily do it for just 6th gear, you would be lowing the RPMs for all gears by changing the front and rear sprockets.
yeah I noticed, I just have to keep reminding myself it's ok when bike is running at 8-10K thats normal for the bike at hi cruising speed.. one thing when I first got on it I was trying to ride it like my KLR man did I look stupid taking corners lol
well thanks again for all the info helps me learn the ropes..
