I've recently picked up a pair of alpinestar gloves and have a question about the fitment. I notice that the knuckle protection (carbon fiber knuckles) don't exactly sit on my knuckles. They are more on top of them than anything if you understand that? Also I occasionally find myself pulling the gloves up to get my fingertips back down to the ends. I get some spacing between my finger tips and the gloves when I grab the controls, mainly my index finger. I've tried on the same model but small and it seemed too small, the gloves felt like they were almost cutting off circulation.
they sound way too loose. the ones that seem too tight are probably your best bet. the leather will stretch a little over time and should mold to your hand. the gloves you have sound like they would fall right off as soon as you hit the ground in them. that's no good at all...
I've had some gloves that were too small, like you say, alnost cutting circulation off, and they were miserable. Did stretch a bit, but not very much.
I'd search for a different brand.
