So after having these installed for a couple of days I'm FINALLY able to do a review for them. From the time that I ordered them, I knew that the number one priority for Shermoto Racing is customer service. No more than 15 minutes after an order was put in, I received a notification of shipment and a tracking number. I was very impressed with that. The levers came double boxed with foam separating the levers so that they didn't bang around during shipment. So far, customer service is an A+, shipping is an A+. Honestly...these levers were easier to put on than it was for me to get on the internet and order them. I'm the first to try these on an R1 and I'm glad to say that they fit perfectly. No modifications to either side is needed. You just put them in their brackets, slide the bolt through, ensure your clutch cable/brake is snug, and go. My bike is being rebuilt right now so I'll have to add on to this review in a couple of weeks when I actually am able to use them, but, so far so good. All in all I would definitely give these levers an A+ For $100 I honestly would never buy another set of levers. The quality, shipping, customer service, all of it is top notch and I'd recommend these levers to anyone that asked.
Lee, thanks for the review man I'm glad you were my first tester for the R1! Once I start carrying standard length levers, I'll be advertising on the r1-forum I'll add this review to my pages!
My bad...I honestly haven't even looked at this thread since I posted it and totally forgot about posting the pics until Joe kindly messaged me on FB :laugh
A dumb newbie question but did you just order off the site or is there a forum rep, and from the look of these that look good, I was thinking about the ASV myself but for the money these look just as good. Does any body now how well they hold up?
babymilo36 is the vendor, he is on here and can help you with anything. That being said, ordering from the site will give you the same great results and service.
I know they hold up well in a crash, I've crashed mine and so has Sherman himself(babymilo36). Obviously each crash is different and no one can guarantee they will not be harmed in every single situation. The folding mechanism helps a ton for those low sides.
Get them. I originally bought ASV's and they are great levers but can't justify the price I paid for them.
