On my R6, the throttle is somewhat loose. I'm not sure why this is happening. Is there something wrong with the cable? I've made some adjustments, but still is loose. Any Suggestions ?????  :?: :?:
Yeah, I got mine adjusted, but when I open the up the screw, the throttle gets sticky. Vice Versa. I'm just wondering if my cable is bad or something.
My throttle also has a lot of play in it. How do I even adjust that? What "Nut" do I need to be tightening? Any advice would help...(I live 2 hours away from any bike shop)
Part way down your cables from the throttle housing is some adjustments..... These are similar to the old fashion pedal bicycle adjustments on brakes. Loosen the lock nut and adjust to tighten the cable.... If you have gone to both extremes and throttle still has slack in it.... buy new cables... they are not expensive and easy to swap out. The adjustment should allow for you to get absolutely NO slack in cable... When you begin to move throttle grip, there is instant throttle...... I will warn you.... Coming out of corners throttle will apply a bit quicker so dont whack it open till you get used to it.... It makes for a spooky situation.. haha
