Hey Guys, I was storing my R6 for the winter and noticed that I have a little bit of grease running down from around the Handle Bar. Here is a few pictures to Show you what I am talking of. Can you let me know If I need to fix this or is this not a problem.
It's just grease from your steering head bearings. No action is required, but if you haven't done so already it wouldn't be a bad idea to repack the bearing with some more grease over the winter, since you've got an 06.
No, jesus. Not the "handlebar"... You're looking at the steering stem nut. Remove the steering stem nut, remove the top triple tree clamp, remove more shit until you get down to the BEARINGS, then repack the bearing with heavy, viscous lubricating grease. Not the spray-on kind.
