How's this for ballast placement?

I got DDM's HIDs installed but I was wondering if I put the ballasts in a bad spot. That's about the only place I didn't feel like I was cramming them in somewhere. I'm just wondering how sensitive the ballasts really are to the heat. Oh, and I also put a picture up of the lights, the HIDs are 8Ks but they aren't quite as blue as the picture shows.
Thanks!
And sorry if it's hard to tell where exactly they are on the fairings, it was harder to get a good angle with the camera than I thought it would be.

Not really a good idea IMHO. I would move them to under the top panel

Re: How's this for ballast placement?

Ok, I'll look to see where I can move them there. They get warm to the touch and that's about it, but it's only about 45 degrees here so that will probably change come warmer weather. Thanks man.

Move em, They look like the slim ballasts... You should be able to get those under your windscreen pretty easily

Definitely.

And they are pretty small, I just forgot to take the plastic holder thing off when I installed them, haha.
