Leather Jacket alteration?

So I got my Joe Rocket Velocity jacket in the mail the other day. It looks awesome and feels really nice, great quality as well. Well, I ordered a size 50 (I go around 6'3" 230lbs) thinking that since sport bike jackets are made so small that a little bigger can't hurt. I tried it on and it felt great, although it was just a little bit loose in the chest. My brother ordered an Alpinestars TZ-1, size 48, and it fits me a lot tighter.

So I ripped off the tags and went for a few hour long rides, and noticed that it kinda feels like the wind is kicking up in there and puffing out the back a little bit, although I'm not sure. Also, the front of the jacket kind of balls up in the front and doesn't fit too tight. I figured most peoples jackets fit really tight to elminate the parachuting effect.

Does anyone know if it's possible for an alteration shop to kind of tighten it up in the chest a tad bit? Is it that big of a deal if it's a little loose? I don't want them to mess it up or anything, and it's a little too late to send it back and get a 48!

Look in the phone book and start calling alteration shops, hopefully one of them works with leather. I have the same problem with my jacket. It sucks when you really start moveing. After you get done with the alterations it might have just be cheaper to sell it on ebay and buy another.

I have a nexx unlimited. I had it altered once. They did not get it right. Cost me $100 dollars. The lady that did it, the only one in town, is sick in the hospital. So it still does not fit. I don't know what I am going to do. I will lose two much money if I sell it on ebay because I cut the sponcer patches off. Thought it made me look like a wana be. Bad idea. Think I am going to call nexx see if they won't send me more patches and sow them back on. Then sell it.
