A* GP Plus vs Shift Octane

Im looking to buy a leather jacket and i know the A* gp plus is a good jacket but what are your opinions on the shift jacket? cant find any real feedback about shift leathers... are they decent or junk?

Re: A* GP Plus vs Shift Octane

I have the shift octane jacket for one season now and love it, and the leather is pretty durable. I went down on my wrist last year and just a bit of the color rubbed off, and the leather is remained intact. I highly recommend it.

Re: A* GP Plus vs Shift Octane

anyone take a harder crash on a shift leather jacket? or maybe switch from a shift to A*? im leaning towards the A* jacket but i really like the styling of the shift and i found it for $150 cheaper than the A*. so if its a quality jacket then ill be going with the shift..... searched around again and i still cant find any quality reviews. i watched the youtube vid of a review but he never really gives his opinion of the jacket like he does with the a* jacket....

I have the A* jacket. I love it. I haven't gone down at all but I love it. It keeps me warm and is cool on the freeway in the summer.
