Ohlins Forks for R6?

There was a post in the classifieds a while back for a set of ohlins race forks, but the guy disappeared. After looking around online, I have not been able to find any information on ohlins forks for the R6. Does anyone know where I can find them for sale?

Re: Ohlins Forks for R6?

One guy that I know personally (I bought my bike from him) has a set for sale... He's on here, you might even be talking about his thread.. They're for 3rd gens. If you'd like I can have him stop by here again for you.

÷hlins does not manufacture R&T forks for the R6, or any other Japanese 600 for that matter.

What ÷hlins does offer is a R&T cartridge system, which internally, is identical to the comeplete R&T forks that are available for liter bikes. I'd look to Hard Racing for the best deal.

Re: Ohlins Forks for R6?

That sucks and doesn't make any sense. I have a TTX shock so why don't they make forks? So with the cartridge stuff it just replaces the stock parts inside my forks?

I do trackdays now so its not about the looks but the ohlins forks look bad ass with the gold fork bottoms.

If you want the performance and look, you can always build a set on your own:

Re: Ohlins Forks for R6?

GP Star's Ohlins cartridge Fork conversion is very neat, and looks very close to an R&T fork, would I be right in saying you either used the YEC racekit fork bottoms and powder coated them silver?...also fitted aftermarket adjusters or anodised the originals?
Another alternative that is worth considering is Ohlins revalve kit (only released in 2009) I have this setup on mine with good quality oil and lighter springs, the revalve kit disables part of the high\low compression circuit as Ohlins consider it un-necessary aparantly, BUT its amazing value for money, my front end is now superb
