How many servicemembers are R6'ers?

First off I'd like to thank everyone who is or has served in the US Military. With the 4th of July approaching I think it's appropriate to start a thread in honor of all who have served and especially the ones who have paid the ultimate cost for our freedom. I know a lot of people in my past units have had bikes and I see a lot of your sigs throughout the forum and was wondering how many forum members have/are serving. Please introduce yourself, branch, MOS, rank, share war stories, or whatever you're comfortable with. And please no bashing other branches. I'll go ahead and start this.

I'm SSG Stanley. I'm in the PA Army National Guard and proud of it (Nasty Girl haha ) and I'm an OIF veteran. I deployed as a Cavalry Scout and currently am a Chemical Operations Specialist (NBC). Also I'm the first one in my family to join the military in generations. Stay safe out there when you're working or riding! THAT IS ALL.

God Bless

Re: How many servicemembers are R6'ers?

Cpl Boyd, USMC IRR, i'm a 7051 (Aircraft firefighting and rescue specialist/or as its more commonly known as CFR). Did 4 years active duty including a tour in "The Stan" where i was a PSD Team Leader for the POLAD to the old CFC-A CG, but while i was there i did a little bit of it all when my boss was out on trips (Infantry, Counter Intel, Convoy gunner, ANP trainer, etc...).

I got out in 08 and have been missing it ever since, i got screwed over when i got hurt b/c i broke my knee cap in half and my Master Gunns wanted me running again after only 6 weeks so i said "f it" and got out so i could get better. I'm currently working as a 911 dispatcher and trying to get a job as a Police Officer. If that falls through, I'm joining the Army and going cav scout or combat engineer.

Thanks to all of you who have also served.

America... **** YEAH!!

Retired USMC Gunnery Sergeant. Served on active duty from 1983 to 2005. Worked as a Marine Corps civilian from 2005 to present. Just couldn't leave when it was time to retire.

Nice idea for a thread, thank you. And thanks to our brothers and sisters still serving
