Input needed: Inform me on this resistor

I put together a FE and a tech told me that he has a resistor that would be less likely to get as hot and that it could run both rear signals. The black is the negative and the two white are said to run the turn signals. Here is a pic, and if someone could inform me on how to connect it, or if it would even work, I would really appreciate it.
Here's a pic:

Re: Input needed: Inform me on this resistor

What is the rating on it?

Looks similar to what I ended up running, the cermaic block is what came with the taillight, I believe the aluminum'd heat sink where the same rating, 20 watts, 5 ohms (that could be wrong now, I'd have to go out there and check now).

I ended up running two of those resistors per turn signal, one still flashed a bit too fast for me. So that was 4 total, luckly they where under $1 a piece. Wish I would have thought about hooking them up like above, I'll probably do that when I get a new taillight (found one that I like better). Looks like the resistor above has diodes inline to prevent it from turning both turn signals on at the same time?

I have the 55 W resistors (they are longer) but look exactly like these... I have never had a complaint of them not slowing the blinkers down and would say I have sold probably about 300 sets of them

Here's a pic:

The single end to the ground and the white end to either side of the positive of the turn signals.

Re: Input needed: Inform me on this resistor

Alright, call me a noob, but I'm still not understanding... So when I hook the the signals up, I will connect three wires when connecting the positives? The white one on the equalizer, the positive coming from the blinker, and the positive coming from the bike?

Re: Input needed: Inform me on this resistor

Think of the white wires as "T"ing into the positive turn signal wire. One white wire on each side.
