This Deal's gap thing soumds great can't wait to be a part in it. I only have a few questions. I have NO idea where it is and how it works. When i send the $$$$ does someone set up the houses for us, are we all staying in the same area, like i said i've never done this before so it's all new to me. I live in the west coast of FLORIDA and i have a trailer for my bike and if anyone needs a lift there more then wecolme. From what i see on the chatter on this event it sounds great and i can't wait. Any info would be a big help.

The lodging is taken care of by each individual with Fontana. We collect the food and shirt money. We have a block of cabins and lodge rooms that are setup for you to choose from. Most split cabins with others, but the lodge rooms are good for quiet time.
Hopefully you can find someone to split the trip up with.

like dan said you take care of lodging yourself but its a resort/village & yes everyone is pretty much in the same area except for the few campers & they are just down the rd.
We all hang out at night & eat..drink..swap ridding stories..BS ect & you can ride on your own or hook up with others & enjoy some great company. You wont be disapointed at all im sure.
Its located on the NC / TENN boarder the dragon is US RT 129 & the village is on RT 28 in NC. Hope you can make it!

well i just spent past 3 days there and its looking to be a great year. booked my room at the store . they only have acouple more left. at $60 a night. looking forward to another great year of riding

Hey everyone, i just got off the phone with Debbie up at the lodging and i have a room with 2 beds. I'm getting there on Wed the 15th and leaving that sun the 19th, so if anybody want's to split the room that would be great, so just send me a PM and let me know. The rate is $84 a night so if i split it with anyone it would be $42 a night so please let me know.

anyone in the west ky-fort campbell-nashville area going?....got about 30 bikes i usually ride with wanting to hit deals gap this year....i need all the info possible about local hotels that can accommodate this many people...could someone pm me...im trying to get this organized between my riding group....atleast 10 of us have r6's or r1's but are all looking to ride and have a good/safe time! any advice and or information would be awesome!
oh and this is my first time ever going as is most if not all the people i ride with!

We are staying at Fontana Village Resort. They have handled the Convention when we've had nearly 400 people, with well over 100 motorcycles. Info is in the first post.

Just read this thread and found out a local (somewhat) is going. I would totally split it with you but I already spent my vacation money.... Maybe next year.

here is my dilemma ...my fiance and her sister are tagging along...i was thinking of staying in gatlinburg....im under the impression that its only 1.5 hours away....so they would be able to keep busy....alot of the guys i ride with are making a somewhat family vacation out of this....(to keep the significant others happy haha) anyway im just planning this as i go but i really wanna be a part of it seeing as how im already so close to the location....maybe ill just rent a cabin or chalet in gatlinburg with hot tub and pool table for the ladies...and one for the guys i dunno....all our significant others are friends with one another so it would be like a party trip for them and of course we would enjoy the riding aspect of the trip....now with this being said i just have to calculate what time id have to be awake and ready to roll out each morning to be there for any and every activity i could possibly take part in!
really trying hard to make this happen!
