Aftermarket mirrors and visibility

Hello,

maybe someone have mounted mirrors like this on their R6 03-05?:

Are they lenght enought to see what happens behind? cause they lenght is just 10.8", original is ~13".

And maybe someone know, will they fit for R6 03-05.

Thanks

Re: Aftermarket mirrors and visibility

Hey, they look pretty damn nice looking!! Where about you find them? Cant say i have tried a mirror like this, but i am very interested! Seen a few members change to a mirror simular and Ebay one and they said that the viability is great and just as good as stock, so hopefully some one with some experience will tell you about their experience, But i am in for information as i am curious

Re: Aftermarket mirrors and visibility

Well i know with me i'm about 6' 3 and 200lbs with the stockers 13 inches seems perfect to see around.. I sometimes see my elbow and have to bring it in some.. so depending on your site 10 inches just might not be long enough.

Those are the shorty version on the led mirrors. I had the led ones for 3rys and they were ok but not as good as stock. You may see more elbo with these. If its just for the look its ok.

Re: Aftermarket mirrors and visibility

I have the same mirrors, in regular length, with the LED blinkers and a different finish..

They feel somewhat cheap: wires are the thickness of a strand of hair, the plastic is kind of flimsy, and the glass isn't quality..

However, they look slicker than shit in a rainstorm, the price was unbeatable (I think I paid ~$45 on ebay), and the visibility is WAY better than stock. The glass is slightly convex and they extend laterally a bit further I believe..

I'd say it's one of the best aftermarket pieces I've added overall. I get more compliments on the mirrors than any other part
