So, I know a lot of riders have GoPros and have seen a couple threads relating to the gopro cameras which are pretty awesome!
But I wanna see if we can make this an official GoPro thread.
I just have a couple of questions, I've searched every where and I just want to get some clarification on which is a better memory card to use for the gopro camera?
GoPro says atleast a CLASS 4 memory card, but would it help upgrading to the faster memory cards such as 30/mbs or the HD memory cards than just class 4? Cause I thought that if your gonna shoot HD videos, you need a fast memory card to be able to process all of it especially in action sports.
Also, what are some of the best mounts/positions worked for you with the GoPro? Not just relating to motorcycles, but anything! Snowboards, driving car, bicycles etc... post all of your awesome photos and videos in here!!
So we can all see what a GoPro can be used for besides awesome track days!
I would also like to know if using a class 10 cards are better than the 4? I was at best buy and was scratching my head which one to buy. Went for the class 4 16bg Sandisk for the price and since lots of my track buddies are using class 4 with no problems I didn't see the big issue. I'll keep my eye on this thread...
--i'd like to do the same angle on the opposite side to hopefully get some cool shots with the exhaust, but i'm afraid it'd shoot a large flame and melt the camera...
also mounting tips:
they now give you a rubber insert that works just fine, but if some of you have older models before they started doing this, a small torn corner piece of a paper towel between the mount and the clip will work wonders in stabilizing the camera.

sicck natedogg!! that's what I'm talking about. what modes do you shoot for these videos? like 1080p? or 720 at 60FPS?
720@30fps works fine for me and what i need to do with the final product. 1080 does look really good, but unless you're broadcasting these on a large screen tv, 720 will do.
as far as the fps, the 60 is cool just because it has more detail when shooting the fast scenes but i can't/haven't found a program to deal with the different fps (using a mac).

really? imovie won't help with the faster frame rate? i'll probably try the 720 at 60 then a couple times, and then i'll see the 1080. i was thinking cause i'd be on the bike, at 1080/30fps, it would be kinda blurry.
are you using the suction mounts or the sticky adhesives?
for those of you wondering what sticky the sticky pads are using, you can use these as a replacement after you take off the "used sticky" from the adhesive mount. (thanks natedogg for the link in other thread)

imovie for sure won't handle 60, i have final cut express but thats pretty complex for me to dive into right now to see if it does or not (i would think it would)
