2008 cat delete

any issues just deleting the cat, will it decrease performance if i dont have a programmer yet, thanks

Check out my FAQ thread.. I'm guessing you are removing the muffler (box under the bike), the cat is built into the header tubes.

I just put in an 05 header and have yet to try it on the track next weekend

I have a header midpipe combo with the cat deleted for sale if your interested. I'm selling because the zafm wideband o2 sensor doesnt fit right (too tall) and I decided to go with titanium headers. $100 bucks and I will be in orlando in two weeks so we can met up if your interested.

Hi guys I decat my bike today took about an hour and a half I used copper grease to hold the gaskets in worked a treat used the write up here witch helped the tip on undoing the bottom radiator bracket helped.Id say a tip do all the bolts on the headers loose then the bracket under the foot rest,then tighten up all evenly wasnt to hard....
