09 R6 - neutral switch location and 12V cable

Hello all

Im trying to install one of these gear indicators:

and to do so I need to locate 2 things:

- where is the neutral light switch? in the older models it is located next to the rear suspension, is it the same in the '09?
- I need a +12V input. Where would be the best/easiest place to get it from? (ie, I wont like to cut any wires). Taking it from the battery is not an option because it will always be on.

Usually they are tapped into the harness behind the cluster directions should tell what colors to tap
