Re: Any dirt riders??

I've got a dirt bike, but not sure if I can really ride it. lol

CR125 two stroke? Is this her first dirt bike? If so, my 2 cents is get her something 4 stroke with electric start and you'll have a lot more fun (fewer problems for her means less headaches for you)

I've got a Yamaha WR and if I'm doing any trial riding, offroad, ect my buddies are always taunted by the electric start. The thing just runs. It's easy to ride. Just a good, fun bike.

Re: Any dirt riders??

You have to keep that cr125 (2 stroke) cleared out or it will foul plugs all day, check out something like a Yamaha Wr, or honda crf230, great bikes for girls.

I can't view the pics....what year is this 125 u speak of....and don't listen to scare tactics about two strokes being bad.....the cr125 is the most fun u can ever have on two wheels and more reliable relative to performance than anything except a yamaha blaster but that's a small sport quad

Check out www.twostrokemotocross.com for some ppl that know two strokes and the most info u can find in one place about them...with respect the 125 can be a good starter bike....it will teach lessons that no other bike will and at the same time it can be a professionally competitive machine

If she has no experience a 125 race bike like the cr, yz, rm, and kx may be a lil much. They have nsty power bands. The power comes on like a light switch. Also they have seat heights in the upper 30's. New yz seat height is 39 lol

A 4 stroke is a lot more forgiving, and you can be lazy with the clutch. A ttr 125 or 250 would be great. Only down side is a 4t is about 4 times as much to rebuild.

But if she can fit on a 125 and and has a lil experience id find a older cr or yz, best 2. You can find 03's under 1500 all day.
sent from my Nokia...wait wat?

It's a cr85. 1997. Just a little bike but she is a little girl so a 125 is too big. But the motor is rebuilt well with all the best parts
