Are green neon underglow lights legal?

I saw a guy on a sportbike last night with white underglow lights riding around in a shopping center with them, and it made me want to get some myself. I know red and blue are illegal, but as for green or any other color, are they ok to have?

Im in South Carolina, but drive into North Carolina alot since we're minutes from the state line. Can anybody who lives in SC or NC let me know?

None of them are "Legal" But green would get you in less trouble

Re: Are green neon underglow lights legal?

I actually read the statute in Arizona,

" A person shall not drive or move a vehicle or equipment on a highway with a lamp or device on the vehicle that is capable of displaying a red or red and blue light or lens visible from directly in front of the center of the vehicle. Lights visible from the front of a vehicle shall be amber or white."

My blue glow is on 24/7 and I've been pulled over once for it, however you cannot see it from directly in front of the bike so it's legal so the cop let me go. I have a screenshot of the statute saved on my phone to show the officer.

If you really want to know the rules I would look them up for both of your states. That's the only way to 100% know for sure

I don't think they can say anything for lights that are illuminating the engine. But if it's actual color neons then maybe. White is your best bet.
