You've seen plenty of them, but this is MY r6 midpipe

I got tired of the gigantic box hanging under my bike and figured i could use shedding the extra weight. Before this i had an all stock (performance wise) setup besides a mgp growler slip-on which i loved. i saw plenty of midpipes all over the web, and even the 05 header swap, but i'm a mechanic and tight when it comes to money, so i made my own. I snagged some random exhaust pipes from our scrap pile at work and started cutting.

Yeah welded, and it's titanium header wrap, did it to keep a little extra heat off the oil pan, and to make a hotter area in the y to pull exhaust out, is it necessary? Maybe not, but in theory it helps

Good shit! I love seeing people fabricating their own stuff rather than buying off the shelf parts. You got the O2 bung and everything!

Yep wanted to do it right if I was going to do it, had about 8 hours total in it, headers were on and off way too many times!
