Lor??

I have a 2002 R6 with the 06+ shorty mod and it apparently does not create enough back pressure. Im thinking of going with the Level One Racing Exhaust but will have to get the one for 03-05. Will the mid pipe fit my bike or do I need to find a 99-02 midpipe? Also, do you think this will help with the lack of back pressure?

Its really not that loud. I rode a cbr1000 with a Akra slip on that was louder.

Re: Lor??

Wouldn't jetting your bike help?

Re: Lor??

It is jetted, I could keep tuning the carbs but its getting old. At WOT it runs great but between 6k-8k at a steady cruse it cuts in and out.

Re: Lor??

I do know that the 03-05 exhaust has a larger inlet hole than the 1st gen. So, you could just buy a gasket for make it fit onto your bike.

Re: Lor??

The LOR does not help with backpressure much at all. I had to get a custom tune on mine because it was idling so bad. It sounds pretty awesome though. I'm pretty sure the midpipe is the same on the 99 - 05. Check their website, its the same exhaust they sell for each. Anyways, here is a flyby vid of the LOR on my R6. I'm the one the camera follows that is loud as...
