How to remove CAT from 09 R6

Hey guys, what is the best way to have the CAT box on the exhaust removed from an 09 R6, there is some y-pipe thing you have to buy in order to do this correct? I have a GYRT slip-on on my bike, but it really doesn't do much and essentially sounds like stock exhaust until I remove the CAT box and get this y-pipe. What is your suggestion?

Go to MJS Performance and buy their full system. When all said and done it'll be worth it. They give you I think it's $85 bucks if you send in your stock system. Wish I checked the forum before I bought my y-pipe it's definitely what I would have done. Or save up and buy a true full system.

Easy bro. If you get all butt hurt over that you won't make it long here trust me. It's a joke.

Reading the OP gave me a headache.

You can go MJS or do it yourself with a Y pipe.

Re: How to remove CAT from 09 R6

order a m4 mid pipe, from there its pretty easy to follow the install directions. your stock slip on or any other of your choice made for the bike will work. i would recommend getting a bazzaz zfi with afm (auto tune feature) from there look in the exhaust and fuel delivery section of the board for plenty of help with the tune.

I won't beat up on you like Mike, , but I will make you do most of the leg work.
